BOOKING YOUR CONSULTATION

When booking your initial consultation, we will ask you to provide us with your personal & medical details. This information is required in order for us to provide you with adequate health care services. It is important to be aware that if you submit incomplete or inaccurate information or withhold personal health information, we may not be able to provide you with the services you are requesting. All information provided is strictly confidential & subject to the conditions of our Privacy Policy.

WHAT TO BRING

You may be asked to bring the following to your appointment:

  • Medicare Card
  • Health fund details
  • Referral letter
  • Scans, X-rays or relevant results

REMINDERS

We will provide you with an SMS reminder (with your permission) prior to your appointment where we will request your response to confirm. Where SMS is not available, we will call you to confirm.

OUR FEES

We request that your consultation is paid in full at the time of your appointment. Medicare will provide a partial rebate for most consultations.
We are able to offer you the option to claim the Medicare rebate on your behalf. Your rebate will usually appear in your nominated bank account within 24 hours.

If you wish to claim the Medicare rebate for your consultation, it is essential for you to provide a valid GP or specialist referral before your consultation.

Please note that the backdating of referrals is illegal and can result in heavy fines and prison sentences. If you have any questions about seeing medical specialists or about the Medicare benefits system, please ask your family doctor or contact Medicare on 13 2011.

Private Health Insurance does not offer a rebate for in-room consultations with a specialist doctor.
